What is VyprVPN?
VyprVPN is a service that encrypts your online traffic. The founder of yvpr has since the internet came into being focused on users being safe and anonymous. This is to prevent governments and so on from interfering with what you do online. Their service ensures that your IP address is changed and encrypted, so that your activity on the internet cannot be tracked. They have different servers to which your IP address is sent. They are then mixed with lots of others so it should be basically impossible to trace you.
Both private individuals and companies use a VPN today. Private individuals often use a VPN to be able to access blocked pages, or to be able to use an IPTV service. Companies often have classified material that could be damaging to the business if it got out. In this way, they can protect their data about an employee, e.g. sitting away from home and working or abroad.
Is VyprVPN secure?
VyprVPN uses Wireguard and secure DNS. These are companies that create vpn tunnels and also have programs that protect against cyber attacks. This is so that you will not be able to get any virus that will somehow still access your data. They also do not log their data or share it with third parties.

How many servers does VyprVPN have?
VYPR VPN actually has many different countries where they have placed their servers. North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. This allows you to connect on many plastics around the world, and have quick access to countries around. This is specifically good if you want to book travel with a VPN service connected. This means that you can often get a better and cheaper price on trips. Travel agencies have cheaper prices for countries that are somewhat poorer.
With over 700+ servers, you can freely choose where you want to be and that’s a big plus with a lot of servers. This means that the connection will be faster for you also if compared to those with smaller servers.
Does VYPRVPN work for IPTV?
We tested running vypr-vpn on an IPTV service and found it worked as expected. It didn’t fix anything when we checked and switched between the channels. However, we did a test where we tried to change the server in the middle of a program and it didn’t want to work. Then the program stopped and we had to restart our IPTV box. It’s a mistake you probably make once and we didn’t feel that it detracted so much from our final grade. If you already decide which server you want to sit on, there is no problem.
Does it work on netflix or svtplay?
We took the opportunity to try running vypr-vpn on several services other than iptv. Many people wonder if a vpn works for netflix or svt play. Because you cannot access all content if you are abroad and want to access your favorite programs there as well.
Netflix worked to get into, but it didn’t find all the content. We tried to place ourselves in different servers but failed to reach all the content we wanted to find. Big thumbs down on this. Svt-play on the other hand worked as it should and it didn’t even lag. However, you want it to work equally well in both directions.
Does VyPr have good speed?
Thanks to its many servers, our final rating on this would be high. We didn’t experience much lag and the speed was stable if not slightly better.
We tested the speed on several devices. Both on PC, phone and tablet. This was a Windows device and the phone and tablet were Android. As we mentioned above, we think this is because there are so many servers, which often contributes to faster connection and speed. However, we would like to remind you that it did not work to change the server in the middle of a program when we had Iptv on. Or that you got access to all the content on Netflix. The fact that it was not possible to change is most likely not due to the speed, but that the system did not connect a change in the middle of a running program.
How many devices can I connect?
VyprVPN has so you can connect to all your devices. We find no information that there should be any limitation. There are VPNs for Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, QNAP, Anonabox, Blackphone as well as VPNs for TVs and routers.
On the website there are easy manuals on how to install their VPN on the various devices. All the different devices have a VPN app.
We tried connecting on 10 devices to see how it worked and if it worked. There were no problems hooking up and it was easy to install on them. A problem arose, however, and that was that when we connected to the router, the VPN connection we had on the computer dropped out. There is a safety function in the form of a Kill Switch so there is no danger, but it is good to pay attention to so that the units do not jump out. When we reconnected everything worked as it should.
Does VyprVPN have a support if problems occur?
On the VyprVPN website there is a chat bubble. There you simply write what you want help with and then you get a list of options. Here you will find the most frequently asked questions. However, should you not find what you are looking for, you can chat with them live. We tried to write a little with them there on different occasions. During the evening, they were not as quick, but we actually got answers. They were happy to refer us to guides on the site. During the day it went faster. There is also a forum created by VYPR where several have posted their problems, tips and ideas which were actually surprisingly good!
How do I get started with VYPR VPN?
You need to download the VyprVPN app to get started. Then there is a manual on their site for the various devices. Depending on whether you have Linux, iOS, Windows or something else, you install this in different ways. We have tested with Windows and Android and found it to be very smooth. Of course, you also need to decide which subscription you want and pay for the service and enter an e-mail address.
What payment options are available?
When paying for VyprVPN, you need to fill in which country you belong to and which postal address you have. They do not have the option to accept payment with Bitcoin which is a downgrade for us. We know several people who would never buy a VPN service without bitcoin payment as an option. This is to make it even more difficult to track the payment to you. However, if you trust that they do not save your information and do not pass it on to third parties, you can pay with your usual payment card. Amex, Visa, MasterCard and you can also pay with paypal.
An even bigger minus was that when we tried VyprVPN in a few different countries with different postal addresses, it was not possible to make a payment by card. It was only possible to proceed if you chose payment with PayPal, which we found strange. We didn’t actually dig into it further, but concluded ourselves that this is where they prefer to have their payment.
Can I use VyprVPN to download?
Yes. Because your data is encrypted and your IP address is hidden, you can do this. Important to know about this is that it is not illegal to have a VPN. What you choose to do next is of course your own decision and the existing laws do not stop applying because you have a VPN. It may also be that you need to change servers as you do not get access to all content in all countries. So if it looks like you don’t have access, try changing the server. Yes, VyprVPN has a kill switch. A kill switch means that if for some reason you lose the connection, it will not release any IP address leaks. VYPR’s kill switch means that all internet traffic will be shut down if you are locked out. This means that if you lose connection, you can quickly reconnect without having to worry that your IP address was leaked while you were inactive.
What does VYPR VPN get in the final rating?
In the final rating, we would summarize that it is a fully functional VPN service that VYPR offers. However, this requires acceptance that it is not available in Português. If you are not looking for the best on the market, we think they work. The price is expensive if you don’t sign up for a long time, but we still think that the 30-day right of withdrawal is good so you have time to test the service before you decide.
We summarize this service as a fast VPN with a good connection. A big plus is that there doesn’t seem to be any limit on how many devices you can use at the same time (We tested 10) and they have many servers around the countries they chose to place them. It even covers a large part of our earth, which is probably the biggest factor in fast speed.
What lowers the rating for those who are a little more picky (like us) is that it disconnected us on the phone when we were to connect to another device with 10 connected at the same time. It didn’t find all the material on Netflix and the payment was a bit shady. As it didn’t seem to accept all cities with debit cards and only referred us to PayPal. We also like the idea that the founder has since internally come to tinker with pages that favor the safety of us vulnerable. This increases the credibility of their service a little in our eyes.
