How many servers does SafeVPN have?
There aren’t that many servers at SafeVPN. Just under 100 pieces that you can choose from. The fact that there is so little to choose from can affect speed and connection.
Does SafeVPN work for IPTV?
We tested connecting this VPN when we were going to watch IPTV and it turned out as we expected.
Due to the small range of servers, it had difficulty connecting. In a server in Portugal it worked perfectly fine. This is obviously because it is close to our actual location.

Does it work on netflix or svtplay?
SafeVPN has a server in the USA so we could access the content and the series and seasons we cannot access in Portugal. It was also good to be located in the US and access SVTplay. You find the programs and access the sites. The problem that arises is their few servers. We were sent out of the app several times and had to restart the entire program.
Does SafeVPN have good speed?
In general, we would answer no to this question. Then it depends on where you are. When we in Portugal connect to the server in Portugal (you still get a different IP address) they work perfectly fine without bugs. If we connect to another server further away, the problem becomes more noticeable with poor speed. In order for the speed to be good, certain things are also required from your side, see below:
- The speed of your own internet – If you have a bad provider, your VPN will not be able to save you.
- Server selection – choosing a server on the other side of the globe will affect your speed. It logically takes longer to travel 1 mile than 1 kilometer.
- Number of people on the same server – The more people who use the same server, the slower the speed. If you use SafeVPN only for protection, many others in Portugal probably do the same, which can lead to too many people on the same server.

Is the service available in Português?
No. SafeVPN is not available in Português, but the website can be translated with Google translate. The languages available are English, Danish and French.
How many devices can I connect?
You can connect up to 5 devices with SafeVPN. This INCLUDES your router at home.

Can I use it to download?
Yes, of course you can use it to download. You can do that if you don’t have a VPN either. Without a VPN, you are not protected and it is super easy to track you. With a VPN, you would have wanted to be protected. Of course, SafeVPN also makes you that. However, we remind you of their policy which states that if the authorities want information about you, they will release it.

- The number of servers needs to be increased for the speed to improve. There are too few numbers now to affect it too much. Certainly accessing different countries, but the speed would have been significantly better with more servers in the same country.
